For all the fears recently that the mobile phone market had “saturated” since everyone who wanted one had one, it appears that camera phones and color screens have come to the rescue. Those features, among a few others, have convinced plenty of people that it was time to upgrade the phone – leading to a noticeable jump in handset sales. For the time being, it sounds like Nokia won’t have to resort to their planned strategy of convincing everyone they need a different mobile phone for every day of the week.
