Worker Vengeance Goes Online

While whoever wrote this article for the Boston Globe clearly didn’t see the recent study that says outside hackers are now a much bigger threat to companies than disgruntled employees, that doesn’t mean disgruntled employees aren’t a threat. More and more cases are showing up in court where disgruntled employees hacked computer systems of their current or former employer, trying to make a big mess as some sort of “revenge”. I never really understand what these people are thinking, since there’s a pretty high likelihood they’ll get caught.
