In San Francisco, Tech Is Good But Goats Are Better
from the goin'-low-tech dept
Yes, this is a completely useless story, but I found it amusing. It appears that here in San Francisco, where technology always seems to rule over everything, the San Franciso airport couldn’t find the right technology to trim some of their grass. So, they’ve turned to a company named (no joke) Goats-R-Us to provide a herd of goats (and a shepherd) to cut the grass. Luddites rejoice.

Not a shepherd
.. a goatherd.
this is actually very peculiar because...
goats, as opposed to sheep, tend to tear the grass out rather than bite it off. This makes them excellent for weeding but I wouldn’t choose them for trimming, personally.
