Tackle Box Goes High-Tech With Sonar And Wireless

There are plenty of different uses for wireless technology beyond the typical ones. Here’s a story about a new contraption for fisherman to track where the fish are. There have been similar devices installed in large fishing boats for years, but the new, smaller devices will work in small boats (canoes, kayaks) as well as from the shore. They send out a little sonar signal which is attached to your fishing line. The sonar then sends the data back to your (wrist mounted) receiver wirelessly and tell you where the fish are. Now, I’m not a big fishing person, but doesn’t this take away all the fun of fishing?
