If That's Spam, It Must Be Thursday

from the phew,-it's-only-Wednesday dept

In one of the more useless studies done in a while, researchers have discoverd that Thursday is the big day for spam. What this means for you and I is absolutely nothing… Personally, I notice a lot more spam over weekends, but I haven’t kept track or anything. The study also noted that one in every 220 spam emails contains a virus – which is a bit worrisome. In my case, I’ve noticed the ratio to be even higher, as I believe one in every 100 or so spam messages I get include a virus (which is always caught by my spam filter).
