A Comeback To Be Doubted

There’s been a distinct feeling of optimism concerning dot com stocks, so here’s someone to throw some water on that idea, suggesting that we’re just facing a “mini-bubble” just like the original dot com bubble. The problem is that demand is outpacing supply again. There aren’t that many dot com stocks left to buy into – but institutional investors are starting to believe that the “survivors” of the dot com era are now going to finally start doing what they had promised so many years ago in revolutionizing the world. So, with everyone trying to buy into the few success stories, the stock prices are shooting up beyond reasonable valuations.
