Making A Mint From Old Mobiles

There are a ton of charity organizations out there trying to get people to donate their old mobile phones – and if you’ve ever wonder why there’s such a big effort going on, here’s your answer. There’s a company named Recellular that goes around and buys up bushels of old mobile phones from charities (thus, giving them the money), refurbishing them, and then reselling them to less developed countries. The company claims it’s a win-win all around. People get rid of their old, useless, mobile phones. Charities get money. Landfills are spared a growing pile of mobile phones. Less developed nations get cheap mobile phones. And, oh yeah, Recellular gets some cash out of the whole deal. Not bad.
