Anonymizer Tool Invites Whistleblowers

from the following-the-law dept

Anonymizer, makers of anonymous surfing tools, read the recent Sarbanes-Oxley Act and realized that it requires companies provide their employees with an “anonymous” way of whistleblowing, if they think the company is doing something illegal. So, they’ve set up a service, called SECtips.com, to provide just such a website for any company. This is a good idea, though I wonder how many companies will actually take Anonymizer up on the service (which they’re charging for).
