The Battle For Broadband Users

The Seattle Times is talking about how AOL, MSN and now Yahoo are battling it out to offer services to broadband subscribers. Of course, they all seem to be moving forward with variations on a “walled garden” strategy – of blocking out selected content or features for extra fees. Considering the amount of stuff that’s still available elsewhere for free online, it seems like a pretty tough road to take.
