Tuning Into the Hype About Wi-Fi

It seems that the mainstream press may finally be picking up on the idea that the commercial hotspot business doesn’t look too good. People in the business repeat the mantra that “it’s still early”, but they don’t indicate how they plan to compete with the growing number of free hotspots. Update: The Seattle Post Intelligencer has its own article saying that VCs are way to optimistic on WiFi, considering there’s really no business model around it.
