Suing Those Who Lie About 3G

It’s a complaint that comes up here quite often. So many wireless carriers are claiming their networks are “3G” when, in reality, they’re 2.5G networks trying to capitalize on the hype. At the very end of this article about Huthison’s 3 launch, it mentions that Hutchison is looking to take legal action against companies that misrepresent their networks as 3G when they really aren’t. As more and more companies start raising the 3G banner for non-3G networks, it’s only going to hurt those who legitimately are offering 3G services. Thanks to Derek for pointing this out.
