Palm Delays PalmSource Split
Palm and PalmSource are apparently hanging onto each other for one last fling. They announced today that completing the divorce will take just a little bit longer. They say that everything is in place, but “market forces” just aren’t right to justify the spinoff. Of course, I’m not sure how market forces have been right at all in the past three years to justify the spinoff, so I’m not sure what they’re waiting for. The only thing I can think of is they’re hoping for a quick end to the war, which will lead to a random stock market “good news” leap.
