Sony Takes Stake In Rival MusicNet Service

Because owning a stake in one industry-controlled online music service wasn’t enough, Sony has decided to

invest in MusicNet, as well. MusicNet, of course, is the main “competitor” to the partly owned by Sony PressPlay. I use the term “competitor” loosely, because neither service has done much to provide consumers with an online music service that’s worthwhile.
