Send Your Message Beyond The Grave

from the something-for-everyone... dept

The nice thing about the web is that just about anyone can set up just about any service online. Of course, that also might be the awful thing about the web as well. Now, someone has set up a site that will allow you (in theory, of course) to

send a message to someone who has died. You just explain who the message goes to, and what it is. The website operator will then take that message and give it to a terminally ill patient who has agreed to be the “messenger”. The messenger is told to memorize the message and is repeatedly quizzed on its contents. Then, of course, the idea is they will (if possible) pass on the message after they pass away. So far (can you believe it?) the service has only found one person who has agreed to be a messenger.
