Color Hiptop Arrives In Europe
While those of us in the US were happy that (for once) we got access to a cool mobile device before Europe or Asia, now it’s our turn to be jealous again. As expected, the Danger Hiptop launching in Europe is a color device, but they won’t start selling them here in the US until they run out of stock on the old monochrome screens – which, perhaps, explains why Amazon is giving away the Danger devices for free (if you sign up for service, of course). Interestingly, this article points out that Danger has been relatively quiet about the color screen launch, because they don’t want to upset folks here in the US (and make them leave the non-color devices sitting on the shelves while they wait for the color ones).
