Wi-Fi as Savior? France's Farm Dwellers Hope So

The New York Times is reporting on what is now becoming a familiar story… a community that isn’t being served by typical broadband access is discovering the wonders of WiFi to speed up an entire area. This time, it’s rural France. Apparently, until just a few months ago, France banned WiFi for public use, but they’ve finally realized that “hey, this could be useful…”.
