Austrian Wireless Device

Austrian company Tel.Me has introduced a smartphone, the T919. It’s a phone, mp3 player, camera, PIM and syncs with Outlook, all the things you’d expect from a modern smartphone. But, unlike most currently smartphones it uses its own OS, which will limit its appeal unless they have something really outstanding in terms of functionality or UI. One innovative feature, which more smartphone makers should consider, is the choice of landscape or potrait display mode. Strangely though the T919 has only a WAP browser, not a full HTML broswser. That’s where I think landscape mode would be most useful.
