Vodafone Claims i-mode Style Service A Success
Vodafone is very pleased with the initial uptake of its Vodafone Live! service. They have signed up 380,000 customers across eight markets, with Germany, the UK and Italy leading the way. The one thing missing from their announcement is just how many people are actually using the Live! services. As we’ve seen in the US, many users are attracted to the color handsets that accompany new data services, but they don’t actually use the revenue generating services.
