Tim writes “Declan McCullagh and the Politechbot regulars are doing a great job of documenting all the changes that Poindexter’s crew are making to the Total Information Awareness portion of DARPA’s website. It’s shrinking again. Highly recommended and highly amusing. Note that no policy has been changed, just the presentation of it, and now less information is being given out. Do we detect a theme here?” I saw this last week and was wondering how much of this they’re doing (1) in response to public outcry (2) coincidentally, without realizing that people are watching/pissed off or (3) to piss off all those geeks/privacy wonks on purpose?
