Microsoft Ordered To Carry Sun's Java

The judge in Sun’s antitrust case against Microsoft has ordered Microsoft to distribute Java with its operating systems. This is a temporary injunction, but it’s likely to become permanent. Consider this the opening salvo in the private antitrust battle against Microsoft. While they may have “won” against the government with the settlement, with the number of firms lining up for private cases against Microsoft, it seems like Microsoft’s lawyers will be in court for quite a while.
