Free Office Space – But Coffee's Extra
Starbucks and T-Mobile have received little positive attention for their Wi-Fi networks. Analysts are worried about the cost and business mode. Wi-Fi diehards think Wi-Fi is better served for free. And then everyone just likes to bash Starbucks in general. So it’s nice to see that despite all of this, people are using the Starbucks hotspots and finding them useful. For example, I work from home and every now and then like to get a change of scenery. I use Starbucks as my second office and am actually posting this story from there now.
