The New Push For E-Government

from the push-or-pull? dept

Business Week takes a look at the state of various e-government initiatives to see how they’re progressing. It seems, for the most part, that smaller, cheaper, local projects are getting completed, while the larger projects are getting pushed off as being too much to take on (and requiring too much upfront investment). However, the small projects seem to be paying off for the governments that undertake them. They (thankfully) are focused on incremental changes to make life better for residents, rather than huge consultant-driven projects based on crazy theories.
