How IBM Caught Oracle

Business 2.0 has an article talking about the woman at IBM who built their UNIX-based database business and took on Oracle, even though many IBM old timers were against the plans. Janet Perna resisted complaints and old styles of product development and sales at IBM and pushed forward with her vision, which has allowed IBM to successfully pass Oracle in terms of marketshare.
