AT&T Wireless Done With CDPD

I doubt it’s much of a surprise that AT&T Wireless is through with their CDPD network. They’re trying to get the word out to customers that they won’t be accepting new signups starting next year and will shut down the network entirely by 2004. They are, of course, hoping this convinces users to upgrade to their GPRS offerings. It would be surprising if anyone complains about this, and if you’re still using CDPD, these days, you’re probably already a glutton for punishment…
