Radioactive Batteries Last A Lifetime

from the recharge?--what's-that? dept

Forget fuel cells and special ways to recharge batteries, I want a radioactive battery that lasts 50 years, instead. Of course, this is still in the very early stages, and (if anything) it would only be useful for low power devices like sensors. Sounds like I won’t be able to replace my new laptop battery (which lasts a whopping hour and twenty minutes on a single charge) with anything fancier just yet.
