Telecom Fight Goes Public

We just posted a story talking about the various issues facing the various telecom companies as they argue for or against deregulation. Now comes the news that the companies are turning to the public to win support in this battle. A group backed by AT&T and Sprint (among others) has put out advertisements making fun of SBC for claiming that regulations are driving them towards financial ruin within days of announcing that profits for the year are expected to reach $3 billion.
