Certainly things are challenging in the computer industry these days. While Dell continues to dominate the space and push the other players further and futher out, even they’re concerned about the future of the company and the industry. Fast Company has an interview with the COO of Dell talking about how he’s looking for the soul of Dell. Meanwhile, over at Fortune, they don’t care so much about the soul, because they’re looking for the business that will make Dell money. It’s an interesting article that looks at the major players in the PC space, and points out that all are trying desparately to expand out of that space into something bigger and different.
