Mirrors In Your Clothing
from the it-reflects-well-on-you dept
There’s been a lot of talk recently about new technology in the clothing and fabric world (who knew these were such hotbeds of high tech work?). The latest is this story about a researcher who has developed fiber mirrors that can be woven into clothing. The article suggests this could be a much more useful way to make reflective clothing for emergency personnel and safety equipment. It can also be set to reflect light at different wavelengths to create an “optical code”.
