Internet Arrives In Iraq

from the just-in-time-to-be-bombed dept

Just in time for the bombing to begin, Iraq has decided to let the internet in. Internet cafes have recently started showing up around the country, and in some cases, people are even allowed to access the internet from home. Of course, as you would expect, it’s a bit on the restrictive side. All emails need to go through one ISP where they are monitored and there’s plenty of China-style site blocking.
