Marty, The Dot Com Cleanup Guy, Still Going Strong

from the the-anti-recession-business dept

Back in March we had a story about Marty Pichinson, the dot com cleanup guy, who is the guy your VCs call to clean up your dot com mess and shut you down. According to this latest article, Marty’s still doing great as more companies continue to have trouble. He’s even expanding. He’s got 20 employees and just opened some new offices. He doesn’t think business is going to slow down anytime soon, either. In fact, his latest argument is that VCs and CEOs should give him a call sooner, because he might be able to save some of these companies rather than just sell off what’s left. He says that many of these companies failed because of bad deals they made – and not because of any flaw in their fundamental business idea. In fact, he mentions that he misses Kozmo, and thought it was a great idea.
