802.11g Making Progress

Besides limited range, speed is the biggest gripe with 802.11b. 802.11a is supposed to fix that, but it operates in a different frequecy range and is compatible with 802.11b. Luckliy we’re getting closer to 802.11g which is backwards compatible and faster. If this sounds confusing, don’t worry, soon enough you’ll be able to get a wireless card that works with all three standards.
