A Different View on Industry Consolidation
With all the merger rumors over the summer, wireless consolidation seems inevitable. Personally, I still think it is. But the New York Times takes a deeper look at carriers and how likely they are to merge. Regulatory issues aside, carriers will be forced to consolidate to gain spectrum capacity and economies of scale to become profitable.
