Bigger Isn't Better, Better Is Better

from the change-your-outlook dept

A very interesting article from Fast Company trying to dispel the myth that a bigger company is necessarily a better company. In fact, they point out this rarely the case, and often bigger companies have more problems, aren’t very good to work for, and aren’t as good at serving customers. The article points out (as have many others in the past) that big companies are built for optimization – but not innovation. Which makes them slower at responding to changes and important trends and technologies. They also talk to a few “experts” who have various predictions about how the modern organization should look. Some of them are a little far out, but all of them get you thinking. Definitely a worthwhile read.
