MEN Behaving Badly

An interesting Red Herring article looking at claims that the big three device makers are holding back the adoption of wireless. The accusations are that Motorola, Ericsson and Nokia (referred to in the article as MEN) are involved in “accidental collusion” preventing startups from supplying the technology necessary to build wireless data networks. The article goes through the history of how MEN held wireless carriers hostage over the past few years, and are now spreading all sorts of FUD to prevent them from going to startup suppliers – even if their technology is better.
