People Don't Use Their Minutes
A study has shown that, on average, people leave approximately half of their “free” minutes on mobile phone plans unused. Of course, that’s mostly because so many plans today offer ridiculous numbers of night and weekend minutes, which no normal human being could ever use up. The rest of the article has “suggestions” for how people could use up more of their minutes, but I think this is a waste of time. I think that most regular users think of their plans as being de facto “flat rate” pricing, and don’t care about not using up their minutes.
