Why bother with making costly, margin-killing hardware when you can just string cheap bits together instead? Cybiko, the makers of wireless handheld devices for teens is looking to change business models. They are probably going to ditch the hardware side of the business and become yet-another-wireless-game-maker. I can understand that the Cybiko device isn’t making them much money, but it’s unclear how they can differentiate themselves as a wireless game maker.
