Never Ever Underestimate Microsoft
Peter Judge at ZDNet UK wonders how Microsoft has made it so far with their mobile strategy. A few years back he, along with others, thought for sure that MS would be stumped by the challenge of the mobile platforms market. If there is one thing that should be obvious to anyone in the tech market it’s that you never underestimate Microsoft. Their $40 billion and scores of smart people gives them the resilience to try over and over until they get it right. I don’t think they will suffer too many real threats until something radical internally happens like when Gates and Ballmer are too old to run the company.
