Cingular and SprintPCS Most Competive US Carriers
A new report from Technology Business Research ranks Cingular and SprintPCS as the top two most competive carriers in the US based on growth and profitabilty. Sprint makese some sense in the number two spot, but Cingular’s number one ranking is confusing. Verizon seems to have better subscriber growth and a less complex network migration path than Cingular and it only ranked fourth in TBR’s matrix. But maybe due to Cingular’s slightly higher ARPU they have better margins than Verizon.
