The Job Of E-Government Czar
from the balancing-act dept
Honestly, I had no idea that we even had an “e-government czar” here in the US. However, it turns out that Mark Forman has held the job since last summer (three months prior to September 11). What was a low profile job, however, has been changing quite a bit lately, as his focus is no longer just about getting government agencies online. Instead, he suddenly has to worry about security issues about what information is online and who’s allowed to touch what.
