Verizon Offers International Options
Verizon Wireless is offering both prepaid and post-paid customers the option to make international phone calls. Plus they have teamed up with Vodafone reseller Rent-A-Phone to offer international roaming options for CDMA subscribers. There is nothing really new or innovative here except that these new services validate the growing market for wireless international roaming. First we got national roaming plans (AT&T One Rate), then we had Eurpoe roaming plans (Vodafone Eurocall), next we’ll have international roaming plans. The world is getting smaller.
