Bye Bye WAP Forum
Nearly 200 companies have apparently signed up to be a part of the Open Mobile Alliance, which is supposed to replace the WAP Forum. The interesting things about the list are that (1) it includes Microsoft, who has historically avoided wireless standards groups and (2) it’s missing Palm Computing
