Can You Hear Me Now?

Coverage is the most important issue for most people when choosing a wireless carrier. So it makes sense that coverage is a key differentiator and source of subscriber churn. Verizon has a team of 60 engineers that drive $270,000 cars designed to test the coverage of their networks as well as that of their competitors. Some companies outsource testing, but Verizon believes this testing is too important to outsource. It’s good to a see a carrier taking such an aggresive role in addressing coverage. Hopefully we’ll get to the point where they give data just as much attention.
