Spying By Monitor Glow

from the probably-not-worth-worrying-about dept

Let’s face it. If someone really wants to see what you’ve got on your computer, they’re eventually going to figure it out. Either by Tempest or by the LED lights flickering on your modem or, now by the glow of your monitor, someone can figure out what you’re hiding. I wouldn’t worry about this last one very much. It sounds like it would only work in some very very specific circumstances, and doesn’t seem particularly efficient.
