M-Commerce Showing Signs Of Life

from the it's-baaaack dept

Basically, they admit that early attempts didn’t have much value, but that quietly m-commerce is starting to return by providing more useful services. So, instead of sitting down to buy a book from Amazon on your phone, you could pay for your Starbucks coffee with your phone or purchase movie tickets to avoid the huge line at the theater. It’s funny because if you talk to venture capitalists these days, most have completely written off m-commerce, which suggests that we’re finally getting to the point where it might be useful.
