Text Messaging Continues Explosive Growth
The Mobile Data Association reports that text messaging continues its rapid growth. 75 billion text messages were sent in the first quarter of 2002, a 50 percent increase over the same period last year. 100 billion messages can’t be that far away now that US carriers are implementing inter-carrier messaging.
