Lights On, WiFi Out
from the R&D-Isn't-Done-Yet dept
More efficient lighting technology is always an interesting solution to solve energy crisis problems, but how about when the lights conflict with your WiFi network? Apparently, there’s a lighting system being developed that operates at 25% of the cost of fluorescent lights, but it also unfortunately generates radio frequencies in the 2.4GHz range. Sounds like more research is in order. Can anyone spare some transparent EM shielding?
