Price vs. Cost

from the more-expensive-than-you-think dept

An interesting article about how the true determining factor in whether or not an innovation is successful is the customer’s cost, which is quite different than the innovator’s price. The idea being that if your product is a pain to install and use, that’s an additional “cost” beyond the purchase price. While a lot of this seems obvious, it is a good reminder that not all costs should be expressed in monetary terms.
