Recession? What Recession?

from the the-news-of-a-recession-was-greatly-exaggerated... dept

Some folks are now saying that (despite whatever claims to the contrary have been made) there never really was a recession. The economy might have slowed a little (and lots of people may have lost jobs and things may have been a bit crappy) but it wasn’t an actual “recession”. Seems like this is all semantics. To be honest, hearing such things makes me worry a bit more about the economy. These “there was never a recession” people seem very excited that about the non-recession, which makes me wonder if we’re (instead of recovering from this non-recession) about to head into a deeper recession…
