The Internet In Iran

Here’s an article looking at internet access in Iran. It’s very popular, and surprisingly to many, it’s completely uncensored. Even some of the more conservative Iranian clerics are apparently working on websites. It’s also not hard to get high speed internet access in some places. It’s true that a bunch of internet cafes were shut down, but that was mainly because of concerns for the national phone company, who was losing business to people using voice chat online at the cafes.
