AT&T To Cable Suitors: Keep Trying

from the not-good-enough dept

It seems that AT&T wants a bit more for their cable properties than anyone was willing to put forth in the first round of bidding. While they have asked the companies involved for more info it appears that some of that “more info” they want is actually “more money”, since they don’t believe any of the initial bids are worth it. Instead, they’re still going to push forward with plans to spin off AT&T Broadband as an independant company (which I can then help bankrupt with my AT&T broadband connection).
